Being honestly, it’s always been the least interesting and capable of the big three Java IDEs. And with respect, the ASF seems a death sentence.

Kai,
Why have you become such pessimistic? To me, NetBeans had always been the most interesting IDE.
Furthermore, I have to program a lot with Visual Studio. Only by the assistance of ReSharper, this might be comparable to a lot of NetBeans features…
Best,
Michael
Michael,
agree with you, that NetBeans is still the most interesting IDE. Actually I’m using NetBeans since 2006, and still feel very comfortable with NetBeans! Just being afraid about the new future role and software strategy around the NetBeans development. Wish only the best for our strong NetBeans Community to promote and develop NetBeans as usually!
Cheers,
Kai
Wrrrr, Apache OpenOffice is dead, Apache Netbeans…
